So Eva Longoria has been in town this week filming a movie, so Sat one of the main downtown streets were going to be closed for a few days to film. On the way to the library with my sister, we decided to swing by, see if we could see anything. We happened to stumble upon where they were filming(behind a ratty mall..) so we pushed school work back and watched a while. It was very cool.
3 weeks, 3 days until I am officially on Christmas break!! I have an exam on Nov 29th that's worth 60% of my final grade..pretty scary! Last week we also found out for my Labour Studies class we can have our text book, notes and laptop. We are getting the essay question the week before, so pretty much, type to essay and transcribe it during the in class exam. how amazing is that! One month off will be SO nice, and hopefully as realaxing as can be! Then visiting time with Liz!! So excited for that! It's going to be really great to get to hang out with a real friend! My friends here are all different, and I don't know..part time I guess. I suppose that's what happens when you're all over the place, you really find who truly wants to keep in touch, and who you want to keep in touch with.
So we are mid November right now, and we haven't gotten even a dusting of snow yet! It's still quite warm for this time of year, and I hate to be a complainer and all..but where's the snow?! Science North(the science center) has Christmas lights up every year in the parking lot, big displays, animated ones, old classic ones. It's quite the tradition to go(usually on the coldest night accidentally), but without snow it just won't be the same! The Santa Clause parade is this coming weekend as well...but where is the snow! That's the best part of winter, cold isn't worth it without the snow.
Hopefully the snow will fly this week!
